IVPrior subscription

Your IVPrior subscription is what you pay for access to the scanner SaaS (plans on /pricing and Billing in your account). It is not brokerage fees, commissions, or option premiums you pay at a broker.

Figure: Billing — manage your IVPrior plan.

What you pay IVPrior for

  • Software access — scanner hub, watchlist, analyze, paper diary, and plan-gated features.
  • Managed under Billing (/app/billing) in subscriber admin.
  • Recurring charge to the card on file after your trial (Stripe).
  • Upgrade, downgrade, or fix a failed payment from the same page.

After the 14-day trial, a blocking dialog asks you to choose a paid plan until billing is resolved. The header may show Trial ended — Choose a plan.

Subscription status meanings

  • Trial — inside the 14-day trial; plan features available, no payment collected yet.
  • Active — paid plan running; renews on the billing date shown.
  • Payment past due — latest renewal charge failed. Update your payment method to avoid losing access.
  • Canceled — subscription cancelled; access until the date shown, then trial-ended behavior.
  • Unpaid — Stripe could not collect after retries; treat as urgent past due.

Scanner limits on your plan

Your plan caps scanner usage, not restaurant-style seats or locations. On Billing, the current plan card shows:

  • Watchlist — how many tickers you can follow vs your plan maximum.
  • Scans today — async scanner runs used today vs the daily limit.
  • Tickers per scan — maximum symbols per scan job.
  • Scanner features — which modes are included (for example Opportunities, Scan, Backtest, Screener).

If you hit a limit, use Upgrade plan on Billing or pick a higher tier from the plan grid.

What IVPrior does not bill

IVPrior does not execute trades or collect money for your broker. Margin, commissions, and option premiums are between you and your broker only.

Quick checklist

Why was I charged by IVPrior this month?

Open Billing (/app/billing) and check subscription status and renewal date.

How do I upgrade my plan?

BillingUpgrade plan (scrolls to the plan grid), or compare tiers on Public pricing plans.

Need custom quotas or desk onboarding?

Use Contact sales on Billing for Enterprise — custom scan quotas and SLA for trading desks and educators.

Where do platform staff manage catalog plans?

Platform admin → Operations → Plans — see Platform SaaS Plans. Public pricing cards read from this catalog.

Scheduled scan allowance

Scheduled scans shows active schedules against your plan cap. For example, 2 of 10 means eight more active slots are available. Paused schedules remain saved without consuming a slot. Premium shows the active count and Unlimited without a percentage. A zero cap has no bar; after a downgrade, an over-limit count remains visible with a capped bar. If scanner limits fail to load, plan price and status stay visible.
